SwiftCalc is a free, open-source financial and utility calculator platform purpose-built for Indian users. We offer over 80 interactive tools spanning personal finance, taxation, salary planning, health metrics, and student utilities — all running entirely in your browser with zero data collection.

Every page is statically pre-rendered at build time and served from edge CDN nodes closest to you. Average page load is under 300 milliseconds — faster than any competitor relying on server-side rendering or heavy JavaScript frameworks.

100% Private

All calculations execute locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. When you enter your salary, loan amount, or health metrics, that data never leaves your device. We have no database, no user accounts, and no server-side processing of your inputs.

SwiftCalc is available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi. Every tool interface, label, and description is translated so that users across India can access financial literacy tools in their preferred language.

Our Mission

India has over 800 million internet users, yet the majority of free calculator tools available online are either riddled with intrusive advertisements, painfully slow, or collect personal financial data without transparent disclosure. Many popular calculator websites require users to submit their phone number or email before showing results — a practice designed to harvest leads rather than serve the user.

We built SwiftCalc to solve this problem. Our platform is designed with a strict set of principles:

  • No sign-up required. Every tool works instantly without account creation, email verification, or phone number submission.
  • No personal data stored. All computation happens in your browser. Your salary figures, loan amounts, and health data are never transmitted to any server.
  • Accurate, transparent formulas. Every calculator page documents the exact mathematical formula used, along with worked examples, so you can verify the calculations independently.
  • Accessible to all. The interface is designed to work on low-end smartphones, slow 2G/3G connections, and older browsers. Regional language support ensures that language is not a barrier to financial literacy.

Technology

SwiftCalc is built with Next.js 14 using the App Router architecture. All 558 pages (82 calculators × 6 languages, plus category listings and informational pages) are pre-rendered as static HTML at build time using Static Site Generation (SSG). This eliminates server response time and enables instant page loads from CDN edge nodes.

The codebase uses TypeScript for type safety, Tailwind CSS for responsive styling that adapts to every screen size from iPhone SE to 4K monitors, and Math.js for precise numeric computation that avoids JavaScript floating-point errors in financial calculations.
